Sindelfingen (with a population of ca. 61.000) has a beautiful old town centre featuring some nice historical timbered houses. Formerly a weaver town Sindelfingen evolved over the years to an important technology centre right outside of the city of Stuttgart. Companies like Mercedes-Benz and IBM Germany have their headquarters here. Many large events at the Glasplast Sports Arena, the Exhibition- and Town Hall put Sindelfingen on the map even for out-of-state travellers.

Conveniently located in the Stuttgart metropolitan area Sindelfingen is an ideal starting point for excursions to nearby attractions in the Black Forest and Swabian Mountains.
